Re: Baby food making
Hi Jasz, are you also Dr denmark's recipe follower or tried out this recipe after read my blog? Anyway, glad to know that your baby likes the food and even till now I still do mush for my a year old girl. :)
Do share with me how is it going now and does your baby still like it? I am sure the happiest thing in this world is seeing your precious one finishes up what you prepared for her and feeding is no longer a battle right? ;)
Re: Baby food making
Hi Mummy!

I just started baby mush for my baby girl yesterday.

My recipes are

Brown Rice Cereal + Chicken Breast + Banana + Grapes + Spinach

and my bb finished the food within 10mins.

I also freeze up the mush and hopefully my bb will still want them.

Let's see how it goes!

Cheers!
Re: How am I doing recently after being a full time mum for 9 months?
Fiona, I am glad that you are sharing the same feel with me so I would not feel so awful for complaining as a homemaker. Is really true that you must get down then do it so you can understand how difficult or how much effort you need to put in to get the result, sometimes might not be the result you want. Btw, I will remember what you said 'the happiest people do not necessary have the best things' ! :) I feel blessed as I have a sweet friend like you.

Thinking to jot down details on Chloe's growing monthly but first month just passed by before I had time to think about it.

A lot of here and there photos which we took from her birth till today but still don't have time yet to tidy up and place in proper folder for uploading. Haiz... Now I count day by day for her growth, sounds like bit pathetic but currently I can appreciate more her smile and interactions with us. That's the little achievement I can have now compared in the past I could arrange my daily life in the way I liked and completed tasks on time. Everything under control before her birth but now I would be grateful if she can sleep tightly and smile cheerfully, just this tiny thing but sometimes can be tricky to achieve! :) Taking care an infant is really not an easy task and is not possible to follow a book to manage her. Therefore I had too high expectation on her for developing a proper routine and able to eat, sleep, play by following my schedule. Is a big 'NO' if think in that way as baby is human, not a machine for us to program, thus my stress and upset partly came from that disappointment...

However after 2 months now, I try to compromise. I try to squeeze in ME time when she is sleeping and try not to be too ambitious on what I can achieve everyday. She grows healthily everyday, that's the main concern of my life now. Therefore, if I can blog one post today, I will be very happy already as I gain something extra. Ha ha. In the past, this seems like peanut, but now is a great bonus.

Okay, enough for woes. Sharing on something happy.... We received a lot of presents and wishes from all friends and relatives. Like I mentioned previously, Chloe is a lucky one as she is showered with so much love and concern from so many of uncles and aunties, gor gors and jie jies. We had taken photos on all presents we received but too bad that I don't have time to tidy up photos and upload them now, but I will do it soon to record down all love for Chloe, to show her in future. :)

Also, shaving ceremony plus 2D1N at Resort World with sista family in order to celebrate Chloe's full month. Much much more events for me to blog about..... Photos photos...more photos are coming !

Re: Chloe @ 2 months old

Congrats!! You are finally back to blogging : )

I realised the more books we read about bringing up children, the more we expect & the more we get disappointed on why things don't go smoothly. So, moderation is the key :) It's good to read books for the knowledge and is aware of the important milestones for the child, but don't strictly follow what's written in the book. Most important is to build the communication between the child & you :)

Are u back to singapore already??
Wanna visit Chloe & at the same time pick up the 2 books from you. Mike's sister is delivering next month, thot I should return her the books for her to refresh memory :)

Yeah, totally agree with you! Like you said, now I can understand more what Chloe trying to express to me and not guessing or following schedule blindly, thus now having more confidence in taking care of her. :)
