Re: Baby food making
Hi Jasz, are you also Dr denmark's recipe follower or tried out this recipe after read my blog? Anyway, glad to know that your baby likes the food and even till now I still do mush for my a year old girl. :)
Do share with me how is it going now and does your baby still like it? I am sure the happiest thing in this world is seeing your precious one finishes up what you prepared for her and feeding is no longer a battle right? ;)
Re: Baby food making
Hi Mummy!

I just started baby mush for my baby girl yesterday.

My recipes are

Brown Rice Cereal + Chicken Breast + Banana + Grapes + Spinach

and my bb finished the food within 10mins.

I also freeze up the mush and hopefully my bb will still want them.

Let's see how it goes!

Cheers!
Re: How am I doing recently after being a full time mum for 9 months?
Fiona, I am glad that you are sharing the same feel with me so I would not feel so awful for complaining as a homemaker. Is really true that you must get down then do it so you can understand how difficult or how much effort you need to put in to get the result, sometimes might not be the result you want. Btw, I will remember what you said 'the happiest people do not necessary have the best things' ! :) I feel blessed as I have a sweet friend like you.

Spent a whole saturday to do a little volunteering work for my ex-landlord. Even though muscle pain today, but heart is filled with content and happiness. Only little efforts can make someone's life different, why don't we take initiative to do it?

This little painting project was suggested and planned by CW. I always hope that will be able to do some volunteering works but also worry that will not be able to commit those long term or scheduled social works then will be a stress on fail to fulfil the promise. Luckily I have a soulmate whom also like to help people around and came out this brilliant idea to help our ex-landlord whom is a single, aged 70++ lady. She is alone in Singapore, without kids and still has to work to support herself and pay installment for her 3-rooms flat. She only earns few hundreds a month. CW and I knew her due to I rented her room before I married. She is optimistic lady even when she was nearly retrenched recently, I thought she will be very upset but she told me she still can look for other cleaning or cashier job. Fortunately she still can keep her work in the end. But due to this, CW realized we should do something to help her to ease her life burden, thus he proposed to paint her house and asked my opinion. Of course I agreed and feel proud for him as he has the passion to help the needy person. So after my ex-landlord accepted our proposal, we bought materials from JB and brought all the way the painting stuffs to start work on yesterday.

We plan to paint the house room by room by using 4 saturdays. First is the living hall, then first room, master room and lastly kitchen. So we are satisfy as we managed to complete the hall by two of us within a saturday. We have also invited some friends to join and hopefully the coming saturdays they will be able to make it and we can make the progress faster and better. Anyway, we believe with our sincerity and determination, this will be a success !
