Recently participated in a hand craft flea market, even though the sales result was not so good, but for those customers whom bought my hand drawn + hand made cards I sincerely appreciated it and felt kinda of being recognized on my drawings. As from day 1 I drew, I just wanted to make it as a pass time hobby and never thought of one day I can share my drawings with public or someone I don't even know them before. So is a 'weird' feeling that some one uses my hand drawn card to send their greetings to their loved one. Of course, is a kind of satisfaction also.

Being in IT area, what I deliver in my works are data, reports, loading result, programs. Cannot say that I can't achieve satisfaction from the task I delivered but is totally different from something you initiated and you fully hands on to make it happens and works. My full time job is customer oriented, which is what user requested and I deliver. But this little hand drawn card business enables me to draw what I think is nice and what I like to draw then sell it to customer. Is totally ME oriented ! Is not that I self oriented or egoistic so I like it but I think is a way that I can share my drawings to everyone. I also very much like to provide customization services thru this biz and my target is to provide 'made to measure' card for customer !

However, it is far too early to talk about whether my biz will be a success or not, but with constantly working on it and thinking of more and more designs, I really hope I can make it a brand for whoever thinks of buying a hand drawn card then will think about snailding....hee hee....
