Tracy, really thanks for the info. We never thought of that. Then I must be very cautious in handling those library books. Hope the baby is fully recover now!
Re: Week 24 (6th month) ~ Sharings..
hey..you can keep the Young Parents magazines :)

Saw that you are borrowing children's books from the library. Just wanna let you know about mike's nephew hospitalization saga, which may be helpful to you :)

His nephew caught some nasty bacteria and was warded for a week. After several rounds of tests, the doctor was unable to find out what is the bacteria. Later, muitin asked me if mike's nephew has contact with library books, then we realised...oh shit! he did touched the library books..and you know lah..babies like to stick their fingers into their mouth...and their immune system is low...

He's been tested for the usual bacteria that babies will get from home or from child care..all negative...so we are quite certain that he could have caught those nasty bacteria from the library books coz there's no way for the doctors to test for those bacteria on library books that could have been sneezed at/thrown on the floor/touched by sick babies.....

so..rule of thumb is...anything that is publicly used - gotta disinfect first or dun let young babies touch :)

Attending cw friend's wedding in KL so went for a 3D2N short trip. Took early flight to LCCT at KL. Started our shopping right after put the luggage at lobby.

In fact I did not have a good impression on KL. As previously I visited KL Puduraya Bus Terminal area, which is a messy, noisy, crowd and heavy traffic place. Left me a bad image of KL. But this time round, I stayed at Bukit Bintang area, which is similar to Orchard in Singapore. There are several shopping malls around, but we like Pavilion most.

You can spend a whole day at Pivilion I guess. Besides from many brands in the mall, there are cafes, cinema, KTV, pubs, restaurants so basically you can enjoy and relax all in one.

We had our breakfast at this cafe. The food is not cheap but tasty.

In the Pavilion. A very spacious centre stage. Well decorated for Christmas. Red carpet created a grand feel.

There was a Christmas performance too.

Food republic ! You may find quite a number of Singaporean familiar stores in Pavilion : Harvey Norman, Tangs, Golden Screen Cinema etc. But there is a local departmental store known by Malaysian : Parkson.

Was lunch time. Friends introduced us to this restaurant ~  nice Malaysian local cuisine. But there was a long queue so we gave up for our growling stomachs.

We selected this Chinese restaurant to have some Dim Sum. Little q as was not lunch peak time, but still quite crowd. Seems like not bad.

Variety quite okay.

小菜. Crunchy, yummy !

奶黄包. Nice too.

Best is this : 小笼包. The soup inside not oily and not too hot, just nice to put in mouth. We ordered one more after we finished all dim sum. Ha ha. You will find it not enough for one round !

This one is so so only. 上海煎包.

Finally, late afternoon we checked in our room. We stayed at Park Royal which is very near to Sungai Wang, Times Square, Pavilion, Lot 10 etc. All in walking distance. Also near to monorail. Very convenient.

The design of way to bathroom and washroom is a bit unique.

No bathtub and washroom is seperated from bathroom.

Overall is clean and neat. The price per night is reasonable with its location and facilities.

What a long post.....continue in Part 2 on wedding we attended and the rest of shopping trip.
